Grey 17

The warmth in this grey is what sold me—it reads almost brown in the evening light, which makes the room feel snug without going dull. I used the eggshell finish in the hallway and it’s held up fine so far, no streaks at all.

I was a little worried a dark grey would feel cold, but these warm red undertones make it surprisingly cozy. The eggshell finish gave my dining room just enough sheen to bounce light around without being glossy.

Painted our north-facing living room in the eggshell finish and it completely changed the feel of the space — cozy without being gloomy. The warm undertone keeps it from reading cold, which was my worry with a dark grey. Went on smoothly in two coats too.
