That grey undertone really makes it more sophisticated than a standard beige, and it covered my wall in just two coats.

The matt finish is exactly what I wanted—it tames the light without washing out the room, and the grey undertones give it a modern edge rather than that tired builder's beige. I've painted two walls so far and the buff brown depth makes the whole space feel intentional.

I was worried beige would look flat on my north-facing walls, but the matt finish actually catches light in a really soft way. The buff brown hint keeps it from feeling cold, and it toned down my whole living room without going boring.
