Grey 04

I was skeptical about a grey paint having a green undertone, but on the wall that verdant base makes it feel surprisingly warm without losing the cool mid-grey look I wanted. It covers perfectly in two coats and the matt finish just eats the light in the best way.

I was worried a mid-grey would read flat, but the verdant base keeps it from going cold or sterile. Two coats in the matt finish covered a dark hallway wall with no streaks at all. It genuinely shifts between classic and modern depending on the light.

Painted our north-facing living room in this and it reads as a true mid-grey rather than the blue-ish tint I kept getting from other swatches. The verdant base genuinely does add a bit of warmth, which I wasn't expecting from something this cool. Two coats covered the old beige completely.
