As grey as purple gets, Purple 05 is a soft, muted near-neutral lilac paint on a stripped-back, modern grey base. Understated enough to suit anywhere but with enough colour to still feel fun, and available in a matt and eggshell finish.

Violet ★★★★★

I painted our living room accent wall with it and the muted lilac tone actually shifts beautifully from grey to lavender depending on the light. The coverage was better than I expected for such a subtle shade—two coats did the job completely.

Samuel ★★★★★

I was worried a lilac would feel too sweet, but this reads almost grey in the hallway and only turns purple when the afternoon sun hits it. Two coats covered the old beige with no primer, and it still looks soft and modern rather than flat.

Scarlett C. ★★★★★

I painted my north-facing living room in this and it reads almost grey during the day, then a soft lilac creeps in at night. The muted tone keeps it from feeling like a nursery colour. Two coats covered the old beige completely.
