Yellow 07

The matte finish on this ochre yellow is exactly what my living room needed — it reads as a soft, earthy neutral rather than a bright pop of color. The brown undertones keep it from feeling too cheerful, which is a nice change for a yellow.

I was worried this would read too mustard on the wall, but in the matt finish it's this soft, dusty ochre that shifts with the light. Two coats covered our dark hallway without any patchiness.

The grey undertones in this ochre keep it from going too sweet, which is exactly what I wanted for our north-facing hallway. Went on in two coats with the matt finish and dried to a really even, chalky surface.
